Roborock Q5 Max + is Efficient Fast and Reliable with a terrific user interface

Wow! I am beyond pleased with the performance of the Q5Max+. I have a large house and with the aid of the LIDAR it mapped the whole thing in about 15 minutes. You could watch real time on the map as it did this. Then you could edit the map to add room dividers and name the rooms. This allows you to selectively clean the rooms. As it is cleaning you can watch the progress on the map to see where it has gone. The WiFi connection is reliable the vacuum does a terrific job and it is quick. When done it empties the dustbin. I do shake it out after every run as we have a small rock (around 1/4 inch) landscape which can get tracked into the house and the emptying feature leaves those in the bin. I am pleased it vacuums them up in the first place so no issue with that.My previous robot was an IRobot S9+ and I often felt I had to babysit it to get it to complete a job. The software was buggy the wifi dropped out repeatedly and she would often get lost and/or just stop in the middle of a room. And it was incredibly slowwwwww. The Roborock Q5 Max+ by contrast is soooo user friendly fast and reliable. What a pleasant change.

A Game Changer for Clean Floors

I got the Roborock Q5 Max+ about eight months ago and I absolutely love it. Before this I had two cheap robot vacuums from China and at the time I thought they were greatt-ut now I could never go back. This thing cleans amazingly well. I have it run four times a weektMondays and Fridays for the whole house and Sundays and Wednesdays for the main rooms. Ittt scheduled while Itm out so I always come home to clean floors. The carpet boost feature really impressed me. To test it I emptied the dustbin and had it clean three small carpeted rooms. When I checked afterward I was shocked at how much dirt dust and hair it picked uptit pulled way more than I expected! The extra suction in carpet mode really gets deep into the fibers for a thorough clean. The mapping system is awesome. It knows the best way to clean and lets me select specific rooms or even small areastperfect for quick cleanups after cooking or when the entryway gets dirty after it rains. The fast-clean mode is also great if guests are coming over and I need a quick clean. It covers almost my entire house in one go and if it needs more battery it just recharges itself and finishes the job. The self-emptying dustbin is a lifesavertI only change the bag every three months so I pretty much forget about it. Like most robot vacuums it sometimes grabs small socks or cables if theytre left out so I set no-go zones in my kidst?rooms and keep chargers off the floor. Hair does get wrapped around the brush but I clean it every 30 hours and ittt never been a problem. The app is easy to use and reminds me when to replace parts but I wish it sent a notification when the dustbin is full. Overall the Roborock Q5 Max+ has been a game-changer. It cleans well takes care of itself and makes life easier. Highly recommend!
